The Louisiana Department of Health and
Hospitals (DHH), Office for Addictive Disorders (OAD) provides
for a variety of residential and outpatient services to
Louisiana residents who have gambling problems or concerns.
For more information, or to receive
counseling or other services to address a gambling problem or
concern, contact the Louisiana Problem Gamblers Helpline. The
Helpline will direct you to the best place to get help in your
area. Your privacy and confidentiality will be respected.
Counseling and treatment are provided FREE of charge to
Louisiana citizens.

This is a toll-free confidential Hotline and
Referral line and is available 24-Hours a day, seven days a
week. The Helpline assists individuals, in the state of
Louisiana, who may be affected by gambling problems. This
includes providing information to people who want help to stop
gambling, family members who are concerned about a loved one, or
a person in recovery from gambling who is searching for a GA
meeting. In addition, we talk to individuals from throughout the
state who have a question on any other addiction and direct them
to the proper resource. This program funded in part by the
